Science Festival was held at the premises of High School “September 17”. At the festival, the demonstrators were students of both partner schools (30 students were directly involved in this activity: 15 students from Zabljak and 15 from Foca). The students with the help of the coordinators of science demonstrated experiments in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The following experiments were carried out:
Physics
Experiment No.1 .Geometric optics:
• Basic principles of optical lenses and mirrors
• Demonstration of the operation of Galileo’s telescope,
• The lens of the human eye, nearsightedness and farsightedness and correction
• The basic working principle of collecting lens
Experiment No.2 Use of renewable energy:
• Demonstration of the use of wind energy – principle of operation of the wind turbine
• Demonstration of the energy use of water – working principle of the hydro turbine
Experiment No.3 Combination of forces:
• Demonstrations of the forces Payload with different points of support
• Demonstration of the operating principles of the double winch
Chemistry
Experiment No.1 Oxidation:
• Invisible ink
• The water in the glass
Experiment No.2 Hydrogen
• Burst gas
Experiment No.3 Carbon
• Blowing balloons

The festival was visited by all pupils of primary school “Dusan Obradovic” Zabljak and High School “September 17” Zabljak, as well as persons with disabilities from the Day Centre Pljevlja. The visitors had the opportunity to participate in experiments under the supervision of the trained students.
