MNEAs the part of The Festival of Science and Sport, ski school was also held (14-20, March 2016). At the ski slope “Javorovača” 15 students from Foca, with the help of ski instructors, have mastered the techniques and skills of skiing.
Besides the ski instructors, students from Foca were helped by the students from Zabljak, who are very skilled skiers. It is important to say that learners from Foca stepped on skis for the first time, but enthusiasm led them and very quickly they accepted everything that were shown to them on the ski slope. In the beginning there were a lot of falls, but the students quickly acquired the basic techniques of skiing, but it must have been included lifts and installed gates.
The children and youth with disabilities also participated in ski school, in accordance with their capabilities, generally they were sledding and playing in the snow. This activity was primarily allowed all children to socialize, develop tolerance and accept diversity.
The weather was fantastic, and socializing was great.
