MNEIn the period from 14.06 to 21.06.2016.Art Colony was held in nature, nearby Foca. 20 students (10 students from both towns Foca and Zabljak) together with children with special needs from the association “Trasčak nade” took part in this activity.
Students from Foca are also members of the art section of our school, which has given many talents and whose works have been exhibited at numerous cultural events throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Young artist of our school have shared their knowledge and experience to their friends from Zabljak.
The first two days, the participants were introduced to the basic elements of painting, they sketched drawings and prepared materials for work. In the following days you could see the students how paint their paintings on the benches, in cottages, on the grass, in every circumstance and in any place. The smile of satisfaction could be seen on the faces of all the participants and we hope that the joy will be felt by all those who will see their paintings in the exhibition that will be set up in the town square in Foca on 27.06.2016.
The children from the association “Tračak nade” were the guests of Art Colony. They gave their contribution and in accordance with their capabilities, participated in activities of Art Colony. On this occasion, and they drew and painted a large number of drawings, which will be exhibited at the above mentioned exhibition.
In addition to painting, the children socialized and entertained through various sports activities: table tennis, football, volleyball, chess, … and in the evenings the sounds of the guitar and singing of young artist could be heard around the campfire. Students’ activities, positive energy and play drew the attention of other guests of the camp, and some of them joined in their fun.
All the equipment and materials necessary for the realization of Art Colony, as well as sports equipment was procured by EU funds.
