The project „Working Together for Inclusive European Future“ is realised by Public Institution High School Center Foča and Coeducational Secondary School „17.septembar“ Žabljak. The project is funded by EU Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) within Cross-border Programme Bosnia and Herzegovina- Montenegro in the amount of 182,055.52€ (93,749.14€ for Bosnia and Herzegovina and 88,306.38 for Montenegro)
This project is the logical continuance of the previous project “Together on Our Paths of Our Past to European Future” in order to improve permanent knowledge, experience and skill exchange in the fields of science, ecology and healthy lifestyle.
The overall objective of the project is improving the quality of cross border human relationship among the youth population. This goal will be achieved through organisation of cultural, educational and sport events, organisation of cross border visits, workshops about inclusion and promotional activities during which young people will acquire new contacts through learning and fun.
The specific objective is strengthening cooperation through educational, cultural and sport activities. These activities will give students chance to talk to each other and exchange their ideas and experiences and get new knowledge and skills. By developing their sport skills, the exchange of knowledge, will be established and the positive change of young people in respect to themselves, their peers, their surroundings.
During implementation of the project are planned following activities: two theater plays, one quiz, Art colony , School of photography, two Science and sports festivals, one museum visit, two DEU visits, 6 cross-border visits of natural heritage sites, two workshops about inclusion and two exhibitions of the students’ paintings and photos.
Children with special needs will take part in the project activities, too. Common activities of the students will enable making new friendships, develop tolerance and understanding differences. Students’ participation in the project and public presentation of the project results will influence the motivation of other students and larger population to work in similar projects and will increase awareness of the the importance of cross border cooperation and common natural and cultural resources at the local population.
The project will be implemented within 12 months.
