Festival of Science and Sport was held from 14-20 March 2016 in Žabljak.
The aim of the festival was to promote science and sports.
Science Festival was held at the premises of High School “September 17”. At the festival, the demonstrators were students of both partner schools (30 students were directly involved in this activity: 15 students from Žabljak and 15 from Foča). The students with the help of the coordinators of science prepared and demonstrated experiments in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The following experiments were carried out:

The festival was visited by all pupils of primary school “Dusan Obradovic” Žabljak and High School “September 17” Žabljak, as well as persons with disabilities from the Day Centre Pljevlja. The visitors had the opportunity to participate in experiments under the supervision of the trained students. Whole event was covered by the media.
All these experiments have enabled students to acquire new knowledge and skills.
Inclusion
As part of the Festival, two workshops on inclusion were held. The lecturers were: Svetlana Dujovic-director of the Day Care Center for children and youth with disabilities and special needs, Pljevlja and Valentina Čabarkapa, psychologist.
The workshops helped students at shattering prejudices against children with disabilities.
Sport
As the part of The Festival of Science and Sport, ski school was also held. At the ski slope “Javorovača” 15 students from Foča, with the help of ski instructors, have mastered the techniques and skills of skiing.
Besides the ski instructors, students from Foča were helped by the students from Žabljak, who are very skilled skiers.
The children and youth with disabilities also participated in ski school, in accordance with their capabilities.
